I absolutely love Foxgloves!  I painted this impression of the beautiful flower with Golden acrylics in red and white, creating the wonderful pink tones of the blooms. Inside the mouths of the flowers I used the red with a touch of blue for a deeper shade for the markings, and bold white ink to outline them.
For the stem I used a blend of blue and yellow. 
I created an abstract background with blue and yellow to bring the main focus of the work to the lovely foxglove.
 
The painting has my signature on the front and on the back my name with the paintings title, date and dimensions.
 
All paintings are securely packaged in acid free tissue paper, cellophane, ridged cardboard and one inner card backed envelope and one outer padded envelope. Larger paintings will be sent securely in a cardboard tube.
My paintings are sent via Royal Mail.
